Desired Qualifications for a Successful
Job Candidate are:

B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Project
Management
-
Substantial (minimum 10 years)
experience in building construction and construction supervision is
required.

Minimum 10 years in construction of
institutional buildings to include knowledge of all systems
(structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical) with
increasing responsibility and concurrent supervisory responsibilities.

Good management, engineering
supervisory, verbal, communication, writing, organization, and
interpersonal skills.
Typical Duties:
-
Conduct engineering feasibility studies.
-
Develop government cost estimates for
vertical construction projects.
-
Conduct structural engineering recons as
part of engineering feasibility studies.
-
Develop SOW's for design and build
projects.
-
Develop plans, specs and contract terms.
-
Develop government cost estimates.
-
Investigate construction issues.
-
Assist in capacity building exercises as
necessary for various organizations.
