Schedule Management

Time and schedule management is absolutely essential for project success. The first step in controlling a schedule is “knowing” what the schedule is. Three other primary factors are also essential to schedule control: managing project costs, scope, and quality. Managing time and schedule involves determining what needs to be done, in what order, estimating how long it will take, scheduling tasks to coincide with resource availability, tracking project progress with respect to the schedule, and taking preventive or corrective action when the project begins to deviate from the schedule.

Using any of the major Scheduling Programs such as Primavera®, SureTrak®, and Microsoft Project®, we can assist the client’s project management team by coordinating, documenting, and monitoring the project schedule. The following are some of the schedule management services available from CMDR:

We have extensive experience with Government Scheduling Requirements and can produce all required reports, graphics, and schedules. The government usually requires an outside "scheduler" to develop, update, and provide a narrative report of schedule progress each month. We can provide any or all of these requirements for your project at a minimum cost. We can produce a schedule from your plans and specifications, use one of our Standard Base Schedules which have been developed from previous actual projects, or just supply us with dates and titles. We can provide any type of schedule you might need, from a simple drawing to a complex cost and resource loaded schedule.
